The Seasons In Sardinia

The seasons change differently in every part of the world. But in Sardinia, the duration of the four seasons is slightly different from its fellow Mediterranean countries. This slight deviation makes Sardinia a very interesting place to visit. For those who enjoy the winter season, Sardinia gets cold from December up to February, with temperatures cooling down to a comfortable 18 degrees for four to five days around Christmas time. Summers in Sardinia tend to be lengthy. Spring starts in March. By the middle of May, it is already considered to be early summer. The summer season officially starts in June and peaks in July and August, the high summer months. There is still summer warmth all throughout September and October, both months falling under Sardinia’s late summer months. The entire month of November has a very short spell of autumn, and come December the winter season picks up once more.
