My Sardinia

Hello, my name is Moreno and I love Sardinia. It’s as simple as that. And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t use the word “love” too often.

Sardinia is a magical place. Whenever I am there, it touches my heart. I am not a oversentimental blogger. I am not even a blogger for that matter.

With MySardinia, I wanted to create a place where I could share my experiences as well as those from friends and other people who share my love for that Mediterranean island. I am surprised that there are a lot of people who have been bitten by the Sardinian bug and are willing to share it with me in this site.

On my side is documentary filmmaker Federico who is a Sardinian (alas, I am Milanese) and a host of other people who have pushed me to start Mysardinia.

MySardinia’s goal is to create an interactive community for those who want to share their passion for this beautiful Mediterranean island and for those who simply want to know more about it.

The site features the wonders of one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea.  Rich in art, culture and history, the island sets itself apart as a new destination worth exploring and experiencing.The site is an  We will show you how captivating this oft-overlooked island just south of the Italian mainland.  Sardinia will be a place that will make you want to visit and enjoy.
