Hello whata great website!

I read about Sardinia on a recent issue of NAT GEO and i'd like to plan a trip with my wife.

When do you guys think it's a good time to go?

I live in USA and i know Itlay is warm toughout the year, is that true?

Thanks!

Hello Pat and thanks for joining the forum!

Unfortunately Italy is not warm all year around, we do get cold weather.

Sardinia is great from late April until these days, sometimes October is nice but the water starts to get cold and the temperature goes down.

If you don't care about warm weather then even during the winter months Sardinia is great thanks to its many fairs and local events.

I think to visit certain areas in the mainland probably Winter is your best time.

I hope this helps :)

Sardinia is right in the center of the Mediterranean.

I don't know how far is it from France, it's kind of hard to be precise.

I would say go down 500km South-East of the coast of France an you'll find Sardinia.
